Two young tortoises/Deux jeunes tortues




These are Dandelion and Clover, born in captivity in Hungary in September 2001 and resident in our garden since April 2002 (species: testudo hermanni hermanni). It's unusual to be named after your favourite meal, but they are. (They also like strawberries.)
Voici Pissenlit et Trèfle, nées en captivité en Hongrie en septembre 2001 et résidant dans notre jardin depuis avril 2002 (espèce: testudo hermanni hermanni). Il est inhabituel de porter le nom de son repas préféré mais ici c'est le cas. (Elles aiment les fraises également.)
